Forge Equipping

Hola amigos y familia

¡Espero que esta carta los encuentre a todos bien! Le escribo para informarle de una oportunidad maravillosa que Dios me ha abierto.

This upcoming summer, I will be participating in Forge Equipping, a discipleship program.  It will start in Columbia, SC, on the campus of Columbia International University.  Our team will then go to Denver, CO for training.  There we will also lead camps for a week.  Following our time in Denver, we will head out to Mexico, where we will witness to locals, many of whom (and I know this is surprising) have never heard the good news of the Gospel.  

I first heard about this wonderful opportunity from a Forge speaker and mentor who goes to the church I’ve been attending during my time in Columbia.  At first, I was slightly intimidated by the idea of going to places I’d never been and sharing the Gospel with people I’d never met.  But, I felt called to step out in faith and pursue this opportunity, even though I have no idea what it will look like and I have never been on any mission trips.

Tengo muchas ganas de ver lo que Dios tiene reservado para mí durante este próximo verano. Apreciaría mucho sus oraciones. Por favor, oren durante este tiempo para que Dios me acerque más a Él y me dé un nuevo aprecio por Su palabra, y me anime a vivir mi fe sin vergüenza.

También les pido que consideren en oración asociarse conmigo financieramente. Estoy trabajando para recaudar $5600 para cubrir los gastos totales de este programa. Sé que Dios me proveerá los medios necesarios para seguir este llamado que ha puesto en mi vida. Creo que será una gran manera de aprender más acerca de Su voluntad para mí. La fecha límite para la recaudación de fondos es el 1 de junio de 2023.
