Forge Equipping

¡Queridos amigos y familia!

I am excited to tell you guys about what God is doing in my life! I am reaching the end of my time at CIU! Lord willing, I graduate in the Fall 2022! At the beginning of my last semester here, my family was able to visit for the first time! During their time here, we spent some time with a couple who work for Forge ministries. I have known this godly couple for the last two years and have often heard of their ministry. As they were explaining the ministry God has given them to my parents, God began to work in my heart. It was the first time I ever thought of participating with Forge ministries. As they were talking, I was thinking to myself, “Wow, this sounds like something I want to do. Why wouldn't I do it?” I immediately told both the couple and my parents what just happened in my heart and asked them to pray. A few weeks later Forge came to my school for a week. They spoke in chapel, lead breakout sessions, and were available to hang out and talk. As I saw Jesus' love in them, I wanted to love and live the same way they did. I began to pray and ask God if Forge training was something He had for me. God worked in my heart during that week. He led me to apply for Forge Equipando.

Forge Equipar es una aventura de discipulado física, emocional y espiritualmente intensa organizada por Forge (ForgeForward.org). It's filled with teaching, team building, and outdoor adventures. During the time at Forge Equipping, our team will have the opportunity to serve in both urban and rural locations. Lord willing our team will take part in Forge's summer camp as well as go serve an unreached people in Mexico. Forge Equipping is designed to help me become a kingdom laborer in every situation and encourage others to do the same.

This is an exciting opportunity filled with ministry and intensive training! I am not sure exactly what to expect, but I'm wanting to join God's plan for me this summer. I am choosing to trust Him and what He has for me. As I choose to trust God and follow Him with all my heart, soul, strength, and mind, I will need both prayer and financial support. Would you be willing to pray for me? Please pray that the Lord would prepare my heart for what He has in store for me. Pray that I would trust Him as I do my best to follow Him with everything He has given me. Pray that I listen to Him and act in obedience. Please pray that God will provide the finances in His timing. The cost for Forge Equipping is $6,000. This amount needs to be in by June 1. Please pray God provides!
